Field Trip: Firstly we are going to Disaster

Reduction and Human Renovation Institution in

which they are preserving records and data on

the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake and

post-quake reconstruction efforts, to hand

down the lessons learned from the Earthquake

to coming generations. After having lunch, we

will leave for Awaji Island via the Akashi Bridge

(3,911m long overall) to see Nojima Fault that

caused the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation from/to the airport will be

arranged by secretariat.

All participants who stay in Hotel Alpha will be

taken to the Uji Campus by secretariat

members.

 

REGISTRATION FEE

Free for AUN/Seed-Net members and invited

participants. For other participants, the fee is

¥10,000 or 100USD to be paid at the

conference registration desk.
