UNESCO-IHP the 35th & 20th IHP training course (U-Z-03)

“Groundwater as a key for adaptation to changing climate and society",
 
jointly organized by the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature, the HydrosphericAtmospheric Research Center, Nagoya University, the Water Resources Research Center, DPRI,Kyoto University, and UNESCO Office, Jakarta (Regional Science Bureau for Asia and the Pacific).
This training course is financially supported by a Trust Fund to UNESCO from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Japanese Government. The training course will be held in Nagoya and Kyoto, Japan, from 7 to 20 November 2010.
 
The UNESCO Office, Jakarta, offers a limited number of full sponsorships to young participants from Southeast Asia; female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. As the UNESCO Office,Jakarta will be in charge of the final selection of the sponsored trainees, I should be grateful if you would advise competent scientists in your country to apply for sponsorship to attend this training course. The candidates should have appropriate qualifications and experience in the subjects related to the proposed training course.
 
In order to consider possible sponsorship for one appointed participant from your country, please submit the registration form (attached) endorsed by your country National Commission for UNESCO, together with the information concerning the price of the most economic return ticket (in USD) from your country to Nagoya (arrival in Nagoya on 7 November and depart from Nagoya on 20 November 2010), before 31 August 2010,   to
